Executive Summary

In May, OSAC’s Executive Director and Deputy Director traveled to New York to launch the OSAC New York Forum. The meeting was hosted by the Diplomatic Security New York Field Office and the New York Stock Exchange. The OSAC Executive Director and OSAC Private Sector Co-Chair gave opening remarks. Regional Security Officers (RSOs) from Beijing, China, Brasilia, Brazil, Jakarta, Indonesia and New Delhi, India provided briefings and participated in breakout sessions regarding security concerns in each of their respective areas of operations. The OSAC analyst for the Middle East and North Africa also presented on security challenges the region. Attendees, who included nearly 200 representatives from various aspects of OSAC’s constituency, were able to interact directly with the RSOs via several knowledge cafés.
